New Business Maven Shares 5 Innovative Concept for Growing Small Company

Perth Amboy, Mayor Wilda Diaz, and the City’s Business Improvement District are hosting a “Business Networking Event and Program.” The evening includes networking opportunities and a compelling presentation by Milton Paris, president of Getting Ahead in Business. Also, each business professional who attends will have time to share a message about his or her company with the audience.

The networking event is sponsored by the City of Perth Amboy, its BID, The Barge Restaurant, and Mr. Paris’ Getting Ahead in Business Company.

Mr. Paris has decades of expertise helping retailers and small businesses attract as well as retain new clients. Talking about the presentation, he said, “You are going take home five innovative ways to sell products and services, which I have developed and tested. Resourceful retailers, bankers, insurance agents, restaurant owners, and most small businesses can use these concepts to grow a business. While you can read a bookshelf full of sales books and get many tired tips, my concepts for boosting sales are ones that you’ll rely on because they work.”

During the “Business Networking” evening, BID Chairman Barry Rosengarten will discuss the many programs and resources available to companies in Perth Amboy. For example, the BID can provide a business with up to $5000 for significant improvements to a building’s exterior or retail store’s façade. The business property needs to be located in the BID. In addition, the BID’s team can help a small business connect with new clients by using such social media platforms as Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube.

Cost: The cost is $20 and it includes a seafood dinner.
